Some insurance companies will waive the comp deductible to repair rock chips in the windshield. This saves the cost of having to replace the entire windshield if the rock chip "spiders" across the glass. Not all do, but the next time you need a spot repair, check with your agent and see if you can get your deductible waived. Glass claims generally don't hurt your rates like an at-fault accident will.
